Monkton Farleigh Coffee Morning February 2015

It was very cold outside but a warm welcome and hot drinks greeted everyone who went to the get together held at Monkton Farleigh village hall on Saturday morning. More than 40 villagers came to enjoy the coffee, cakes and chat at the event which was organised by St Peter's church to provide an opportunity for the village community to share news and views. The morning proved a great success, building a friendly atmosphere in the village hall as it filled with lively conversation and the sound of the coffee machine working to keep up with demand.
A warm welcome in the village hall

Rev'd Ann Keating and Paul Batson represented the ministry team, enjoying the opportunity to meet villagers and remind them of the church's continuing presence at the centre of life in Monkton Farleigh.
